Dr. Leul Girma Haylemariam is an academic and researcher in the areas of international business strategy, innovation management, and sustainable development. His Doctorate focused on the role of digital and entrepreneurial transformation on the success of organizations in variegated international ecosystems awarded by the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT) in Intercultural Relations and International Management. This addition to his other Interdisciplinary academic qualifications such as a Business Management MSc awarded by Sapienza University of Rome and an MA awarded by the Rome Business School in Marketing and Communications, adds a versatile academic depth to his Scholarship.
He has been a dedicated scholar and has contributed a lot of peer-reviewed works to some of the highest ranked global journal publications such as Business Strategy and the Environment, Management Research Review, and Sustainability Accounting, and Management and Policy. In his works, he conducted researches to advance on the role of Big Data, CSR, and Environmental Sustainability, with a major focus on Social Enterprises and Small-T medium Enterprises. Dr. Haylemariam has a Doctorate thesis on Women Entrepreneurship, with focus on Business Models for Frugal innovation in an Emerging Economy. This provides him with the academic thoroughness for a balanced and sustainable economic focus on the peripheral Youth.
His vast global research and teaching competence at EAAS help in creating a robust interface involving innovative business solutions to complex real-world problems. His teaching assistant roles involved having a hands-on structural and content-based role in mentoring students in International Sales and Marketing Management courses as well as Luxury and Fashion Management, thus guaranteeing EAAS students a globally informed and contemporary curricula.
With experience in public-sector research and advocacy, as well as over a decade in European higher education, Dr. Haylemariam, through EAAS, is bringing his knowledge and skills to strengthen and develop interdisciplinary research to teach and train the new generation of leaders and prepare them to direct the digital and sustainable economic transformation worldwide.
